LaCroix Sparkling Water Review: Guava Sao Paulo
LaCroix Guava Sao Paulo Sparkling Water Is A Mild Mannered Enigma
— Guava is one of the most delectable tropical fruits there is. Perhaps you can remember back to childhood visiting your grandparents. At home with mom or dad, your fruit selections were pretty run of the mill: apples, oranges, and bananas to name a few. But grandma always made her kitchen a delight of new experiences. Enter the guava fruit, a special treat grandma liked to prepare. Originally from Mexico and Central America, the guava is now found in abundance in Brazil. Sao Paulo (Portuguese for ‘Saint Paul’) is a municipality in Brazil that is known for producing premium crops of guava. Experience the tropical flavors of South America with LaCroix Guava Sao Paulo Sparkling Water.
Tropical Fragrance
When you crack open a can of LaCroix Guava Sao Paulo Sparkling Water you are greeted with an overall appealing tropical scent. Pineapple is the only fruit smell that is uniquely identifiable in the scent bouquet. Rather, the scent is more a blend of tropical odors that combine for a singular fruity, appealing smell. It should be noted that this scent does not hang thick in the air. It is a very mild scent. The odor is pleasing, and even a bit intriguing. You will also be thrilled to know that this seltzer drink will add nothing to your waistline. It has 0 calories, 0 grams of total sugars, and 0 grams of total carbohydrates. It is also gluten free and has a clean, clear appearance.
LaCroix Guava Sao Paulo Sparkling Water Has Good Flavor
The mild scent of this sparkling beverage segues to a mild taste. It is a very good taste, but it is mild. What flavor there is, is good. The flavor is both slightly sour and slightly sweet. Like the fragrance, no one single fruit essence stands out. For a tropical drink like this, you might expect to find the individual flavors of guava, pineapple, or passionfruit. However, no one flavor emerges from the pack. Even though it is a nondescript tropical flavor (like fruit punch), it is still somewhat satisfying. It has a clean finish and almost no aftertaste. But it is definitely less flavorful compared to other LaCroix Sparkling Water reviews that we’ve done.
Moderately Interesting
Though quite mild, the flavor of LaCroix Guava Sao Paulo Sparkling Water is still enjoyable. There simply is not enough of it. The flavor is unfortunately going to be too mild for most rookie seltzer drinkers and those seasoned drinkers who prefer a lot of flavor. It is also probably too mild to serve as a mixer for adult drinks. Still, there are good things about this seltzer. It has zero calories, zero total sugars, and zero total carbs. Other good qualities include having a clean and dry finish and no aftertaste. This sparkling water provides a single taste from beginning to end. There are no competing flavors vying for your attention. All in all, it makes for a moderately interesting beverage experience. It is worth a try, but it probably won’t be your favorite.
