White Claw Vodka Sodas
White Claw has been the ruling monarch of hard seltzer brands since 2019. Since the brand first launched in 2016, it has used innovative methods to market its products, including using Youtubers and trendy hashtags. In recent years, the brand has been basking in the top spot. While many other hard seltzer brands released several new flavor lines a year, White Claw seemed in no hurry to catch up to its competitors’ frequent new flavor launches. However, that all changed last year when White Claw released three flavor lines, White Claw Surf, White Claw Refreshr Lemonade, and White Claw Refreshr Tea. The one trend the top-selling brand didn’t seem too interested in was creating a real spirits line, even though competitors Truly Hard Seltzer and Topo Chico recently made this move. Well, that all changed today when news of White Claw Vodka Sodas leaked on Linkedin.
“The difference is clear,” the White Claw Vodka + Soda packaging reads, “At White Claw, we’re relentless in our passion to bring you unrivaled taste. We’ve invented a unique process to make a smoother vodka + soda. Made with the world’s first Triple Wave Filtered Vodka then blended with real fruit juice and sparkling water to deliver a vodka + soda of unparalleled refreshment.”
White Claw Triple Wave Filtered Vodka
With no fanfare or announcement on White Claw’s social media, a brand-new line of White Claw Vodkas just went live on the White Claw Website. The vodka is 100% American Grain Alcohol, distilled five times, and 40% alcohol by volume. The brand promises, “This is vodka reimagined using the world’s first Triple Wave Filtered™ Vodka. Filtered with the pressure equal to a 30ft wave for a superior, smoother finish.” The vodka is also available in three flavored vodka options, Black Cherry, Mango, and Pineapple. The White Claw flavored vodka varieties have an ABV of 30%. These spirits come in one liter, 750 milliliters, and 50 milliliters.
What We Know About White Claw Vodka + Soda
White Claw Vodka Sodas will be released in four flavors, Peach, Wild Cherry, Pineapple, and Watermelon. In a new move for White Claw, these vodka sodas will contain real fruit juice. Each can comes in at 100 calories and 2 grams of carbohydrates. They are also gluten-free. The alcohol content of these vodka sodas is 4.5% ABV. This is a break from White Claw’s previous standard of 5% ABV for its drinks. When will these drinks launch? So far, White Claw has released no information on when it plans to launch its new line of vodka sodas. All we know is that these drinks are “coming soon.” If the brand launches its vodka sodas as it did its line of vodka spirits, the drinks may be available in your local store before White Claw makes a single announcement online. We can only cross our fingers and toes that “coming soon” means that these vodka sodas will be coming very soon.
