Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer Mango Apricot Introduces a Unique Stone Fruit to the Hard Seltzer World

Most hard seltzer lovers have tried a mango hard seltzer. It is simply one of the most popular and common flavors. There’s a reason for that. Mango is naturally sweet and delicious, and it stands out even in seltzers with the faintest flavor application. Apricot is not a common flavor in hard seltzers. In fact, apricot may be one of the more underrated fruits out there. Apricots are highly similar to peaches and often mistaken for peaches. However, they are not the same. Apricots are tarter and less sweet than peaches. Due to the less frequent use of the apricot flavor in hard seltzer (relative to other stone fruits), we were intrigued when we saw Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer Mango Apricot. We are also intrigued by the organic ingredients and low alcohol content, featuring only 4% ABV. Subsequently, here at Seltzer Nation, we decided to test and review this hard seltzer. Below is a summary of the notes from our taste testers. Spoiler alert: we loved this hard seltzer by Michelob Ultra.

Fruity Flavor with Natural Ingredients

You can really smell the fruit ingredients as soon as you crack open a can of Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer Mango Apricot. The stone fruits mango and apricot dominate the aroma and transport you to a summer orchard scene. As soon as you take your first sip, fresh mango flavor overwhelms your tastebuds. It is definitely the most dominant flavor. There is also a strong fruity flavor that follows your first sip. We tasted the organic ingredients right away. The apricot flavor is there as well; however, it seems to taste more like peach flavor. This is presumably from the combination of mango and apricot. As mentioned, we really appreciate the representation of apricot flavor with this hard seltzer by Michelob Ultra. It is a less common flavor that still provides a fruity seltzer experience.

Organic Ingredients, Gluten Free, and Only 99 Calories Per Can

Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer makes its Mango Apricot Hard Seltzer with purified water, organic fermented cane sugar, organic fruit juice concentrate, organic natural flavors, and organic malted rice. There are only two grams of sugar and carbohydrates. We also appreciate the low-calorie count of 99 total calories. We are surprised by the immense taste despite very little sugar and calories. It is also light. The alcohol content is 4% ABV, making this drink lighter in alcohol than most hard seltzers. This is enough to produce a very subtle buzz but is far from anything that is overpowering. Additionally, Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer Mango Apricot is gluten-free.

A Light and Tasty Hard Seltzer Drink

With just 4% alcohol by volume, this is a great option for those who prefer a light hard seltzer option that does not make them feel boozy. The flavor of the Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer Mango Apricot is simply fantastic. The stone fruit flavors combined with a minimal taste of alcohol allow this to drink more like a fruity mocktail. Mango hard seltzers are almost always winners, and the addition of apricot does not disappoint. Overall, we highly recommend this hard seltzer due to its organic ingredients, light alcohol, and delicious, fruity taste.
