High Noon Cranberry Hard Seltzer

High Noon Cranberry has a Perfect Balance of Sweet and Sour

Cranberries are a very special berry. They’re one of the only berries that originate in Northern America. And, unlike most other berries, they ripen in the autumn. Another unique factor among other berries is that cranberries aren’t naturally very sweet. They often need added sugar to make them to people’s taste. In fact, people usually love them or hate them, but those who love them can’t get enough of them. Like other types of berries, cranberries are the perfect complement for so many flavors, including alcohol. The taste of cranberry blends naturally with vodka. That’s why we were excited to learn that hard seltzer brand High Noon just released a limited-edition Cranberry Hard Seltzer. We decided to test this drink, and here is what we found.

Sweet Meets Sour for Fantastic Cranberry Flavor

The cranberry is prominent with this hard seltzer by high noon. It does have a slightly tart flavor, but we found it to be nice and not too much. In fact, there is almost a perfect balance between the sweet and sour flavors. You can smell the delicious aroma upon opening the can. It smells similar to the natural cranberry juice you might order at a restaurant. Due to the natural flavors, it tastes real and legitimate. There is nothing artificial or fake about High Noon Cranberry. There is also great carbonation. It is nice and bubbly, which gives it life and keeps it from feeling flat.

What’s in the Can? Deliciousness

High Noon Cranberry Hard Seltzer is made with vodka, real fruit juice, sparkling water, and natural flavors. It contains 100 calories per can. There are 2.4 grams of sugar and 5.3 grams of carbs in total. It is entirely free of gluten as well. The alcohol by volume (ABV) content is 4.5%. This is on par with most hard seltzers, so you can expect a subtle punch of alcohol with each can that is not nearly as strong as the average glass of wine. This keeps the taste of alcohol to a minimum. Nevertheless, you can certainly notice the alcohol effects after one or two cans (depending on your tolerance). As always, be sure to drink responsibly, as it is possible to drink more than you anticipate due to its delicious taste.

A Delicious Adult Beverage

High Noon Cranberry Hard Seltzer contains more sugar and carbs than most of High Noon’s other existing flavors, so it may not be right for you if you are watching your intake. However, if you have budgeted for a few more grams of sugar and want extra flavor (it is oh so delicious!), then this is a great hard seltzer choice. Despite the sugar content, it still feels light and easy to drink. The alcohol is not too much at all, but there is a small punch that is nice when you just want to relax after a long day or week. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed the High Noon Cranberry and recommend it to anyone who adores cranberry flavor and wants a more festive berry-flavored hard seltzer.
