White Claw Refreshr just introduced a new flavor very similar to the lemon-lime classic flavor combination, Limon with a Hint of Calamansi. Calamansi is native to the Philipines. Subsequently, it provides a tropical experience that transports your mind to the equator. You may have never heard of calamansi, also known as calamondin or Philippine lime. Like a lime, calamansi fruits are both sour and sweet. We decided to give this hard seltzer a try, and here are our findings.

This hard seltzer by White Claw is sour. Your first sip is memorable and unlike anything else you have experienced. The explosion of fresh citrus fruit is real and strong. White Claw Refreshr Limon with a Hint of Calamnsi tastes almost as if you mixed lemonade and sprite together — and then added alcohol. Of course, the difference here is that the lemon, lime, and calamnsi flavors are natural with this hard seltzer by White Claw. If you like a sour and flavorful taste, then this hard seltzer is certainly something you should try. However, it may not be the best taste for everyone. Lemon is the dominant flavor in the White Claw Refreshr Limon with a Hint of Calmansi. It provides a slightly sour and flavorful taste, along with a nice natural scent. The calamnsi is a great complement to the lemonade taste of this Refreshr.

Pucker Up for The Sweet (and Sour) Taste

White Claw makes their Refrshr Limon with a hint of Calamansi Hard Seltzer with purified carbonated water, alcohol, natural flavors, citric acid, cane sugar, natural lemon juice concentrate, and sodium citrate. There are only 100 calories per can, 1 gram of carbs, and 1gram of sugar. There is an ABV of 5%, so you may start to feel a buzz after drinking one or more. However, the alcohol taste is minimal. As all White Claw beverages are, this hard seltzer is gluten-free.

A Unique Taste You Will Remember (and You May Love)

The White Claw Refreshr Limon with a Hint of Calamansi is truly a unique taste. Those who love it absolutely love it and often choose it as their preferred beverage. However, it is packed with flavor and, for some, too strong. Although, it is okay that is not for everyone because those who love it, absolutely adore it. Regardless, it is a hard seltzer we recommend trying at least once as it is a great experience. Who knows, you may just fall in love. These hard seltzers are best when served cold.
