SunnyD Expands its Vodka Seltzer Line

Fall is in the air. The weather is cooling. Leaves are, well, falling. And there’s a buzz in the air that hints at rain. Starbucks is whipping out its fall menu, and the debate of whether Pumpkin Spice Lattes are delicious or disgusting is once again raging across our social media feeds. One brand – however – has just decided that Summer isn’t quite over yet.

Autumn just got a bit sunnier because 1990’s throwback brand SunnyD is about to release two new flavors in their popular vodka seltzer line. SunnyD released the Tangy Orange Vodka Seltzers in April of this year, drawing excitement from fans and criticism from the media. Controversy or not, the brand is expanding into new flavors. In a story broken by a Michigan news outlet, MLive, the popular orange drink brand announced that they’re releasing their first-ever variety pack with two brand new flavors, SunnyD Vodka Seltzer Variety Pack.

“Last Spring, we took your favorite tangy orange flavor and added vodka to create a delightful drinking experience that tastes like you’re sipping sunshine,” says a press release from SunnyD, according to MLive. “The response to Tangy Orange has been so overwhelming that we’re offering two new flavors – just in time for your next tailgate.”

The SunnyD Vodka Seltzer Variety Pack will come with eight 12-oz tall cans. The pack includes four cans of Tangy Orange and two cans of each of the brand-new flavors, Orange Strawberry and Orange Pineapple.

Orange Strawberry and Orange Pineapple are also popular flavors of non-alcoholic SunnyD. Just like SunnyD Tangy Orange, these flavors have 95 calories and no added sugar. SunnyD Vodka Seltzers are also made with real fruit juice. The alcohol content is 4.5% ABV. This pack will be available nationwide in October with a suggested price of $17.99. What day in October? The brand didn’t disclose this. However, we think it’s a safe bet that you can sip on the new flavors of SunnyD Vodka Seltzers during your Halloween festivities.
