SESH Cocktail Meets Seltzer Moscow MuleSESH: Cocktail Meets Seltzer Moscow Mule Tastes Authentic

Have you ever wondered how the Moscow Mule cocktail got its name? Well, the “Moscow” part of its name is due to the association many make between Russia and vodka. The word “Mule” is derived from the strong kick of flavor the drink provides. Moscow Mules are one of the most popular adult beverages at bars and restaurants. It is a cocktail that is made of ginger beer and lime juice. These cocktails find a nice balance between spicy and sweet, and they are generally filled with a strong flavor. This famous drink is the inspiration behind the SESH: Cocktail Meets Seltzer Moscow Mule. Our taste testers tried the drink, and they found the flavor to be very authentic. Here is an in-depth account of what our reviewers thought about this hard seltzer by SESH: Cocktail Meets Seltzer.

Clear and Bubbly

SESH Moscow Mule tastes very much like the authentic cocktail. The accurate taste proved satisfying and enjoyable. Of course, along with this authentic taste comes the anticipated spicy aftertaste. This is nice for Moscow Mule enthusiasts, but it may not be a great taste for everyone. In addition to the ginger beer that provides a spicy aftertaste, we also noticed the subtle taste of lime as well. A faint aroma of ginger rose from the liquid of this cocktail. One of the most notable things about the SESH: Cocktail Meets Seltzer Moscow Mule is that it has excellent carbonation. It was incredibly bubbly, and every sip was full of life. It pours out as a clear liquid, and we highly recommend losing the can and pouring this over ice instead.

Natural Flavors and 6% ABV

SESH Cocktail Meets Seltzer makes its Moscow Mule with filtered water, alcohol, natural flavors, and stevia. Each can contains 120 calories. Although this is a fairly high-average calorie count for a 12-ounce hard seltzer, the calorie contents are considerably lower than the calories contained in a Moscow Mule that you would order at a bar. Additionally, there is only one gram of carbs total and absolutely no added sugar. Instead, SESH uses stevia for sweetening purposes. This Moscow Mule is also gluten-free. The alcohol by volume is 6% which is a little higher than average for hard seltzers. We assume that it is this drink’s natural ingredients that make its taste so similar to a Moscow Mule. There is even a nice aroma that is reminiscent of ginger beer, lime juice, and mint as well.

A Great Hard Seltzer to Pour Over Ice

As we said earlier, we highly recommend serving the SESH: Cocktail Meets Seltzer Moscow Mule over ice. It is an excellent hot-weather drink. Although, it is still appropriate on cool winter days as well due to its spiciness. If you choose to pour it into a can, consider throwing in a sprig of mint as well. These hard seltzers are still enjoyable directly out of the can, but the glass provides the most authentic cocktail experience. In summary, this is an excellent choice for those who find themselves regularly ordering a Moscow Mule at restaurants or bars. We certainly appreciated the authentic Moscow Mule experience that you can enjoy during any casual drinking occasion.
