So, we did, and this review is a collection of our observations.

A Mix of Exotic Flavors Combine for a Unique Drinking Experience

Scarlet Letter Spiked Seltzer Purple is packed with flavors, including passionfruit, elderflower, and key lime (among others). There is no star flavor; instead, each flavor combines nicely for a unique taste. There is both a subtle tart flavor as well as a mild sweetness. We taste the coriander flavor immediately. The passion fruit is strong and noticeable as well, and it works well with the elderflower. The elderflower, however, is far less distinct. The key lime flavor adds an incredible aftertaste that leaves us wondering how Scarlet Letter is able to create such a fascinating experience throughout each sip. The blending of flavors makes for a pleasant and intriguing hard seltzer. There is also a mild fruit and herb aroma.

A Low-Sugar Hard Seltzer with Strong Flavor

Scarlet Letter makes its Purple Spiked Seltzer with filtered water, alcohol (from cane sugar), steviol glycosides, natural and artificial flavors, citric acid, and cane sugar. As discussed, the taste experience features passion fruit, elderflower, coriander, and key lime ingredients. The Scarlet Letter Spiked Seltzer Purple contains 5% alcohol by volume. There are only two grams of sugar per can, which makes it an excellent choice for hard seltzer enthusiasts who enjoy low-sugar beverages. However, it is not entirely naturally flavored; artificial sweeteners such as stevia are used to enhance the taste. This hard seltzer option has only 110 calories. 

A Range of Flavors That are Fun to Find with Every Sip

One thing is certain about the Scarlet Letter Spiked Seltzer Purple — it provides a very complex flavor experience.  This hard seltzer is a nice break from traditional flavor combinations. If you’re craving a unique flavor experience, then this drink might be just what you’re looking for. In fact, while drinking this hard seltzer for the purpose of putting together this review, we kept checking the can to see all of the flavors, so we did not forget. Overall, we recommend this hard seltzer. It provides a memorable experience due to its multitude of flavors. However, it may not be ideal for hard seltzer lovers who desire more naturally-flavored beverages that do not contain sugar.
