Bud Light Seltzer is Bigger and Bolder than Ever
Bud Light is celebrating the coming of summer with the Bud Light Seltzer Cocktail Hour pack. These vacation-inspired hard seltzers come in four flavors, Tropical Punch, Lime Margarita, Watermelon Mojito, and Strawberry Daiquiri.
Imagine 4 o’clock has rolled around while you’re laying on the beach. You’re on vacation, so it’s probably not four o’clock in your home time zone, but, again, you’re on vacation. It’s not only 4 o’clock somewhere, it’s 4 o’clock exactly where you’re at. You don’t even bother wrapping something around your bathing suit — you don’t have to. The bar is right on the beach. Your skin has a sheen of sweat, there’s white sand between your toes, and you’re ready for a cold refreshment. This is where Bud Light’s new Limited-Edition Cocktail Hour Pack delivers you, happy hour on the beach.
Loudest Flavors Ever
Bud Light Seltzer has rode on the promise of delivering the “Loudest Flavors Ever”. The promise started during a halftime commercial for Bud Light Hard Soda. In this commercial, Guy Fieri, American restauranteur and TV personality, declared Bud Light Hard Soda the “Loudest Flavors Ever”. And, the brand has delivered. More than once. Along with their Hard Sodas, they released their Limited-Edition Retro Pack, their Tie Dye Pack, their seasonal Ugly Sweater Pack, their Sour Pack, and now the brand is releasing a brand new suite of loud cocktail inspired flavors, their Limited-Edition Cocktail Hour Pack. The brand does this with the intention of “disrupting the seltzer category”. Many seltzers go with lighter flavors, harking back to their seltzer water roots but not so with Bud Light Seltzer. They chose the path less traveled by, and they did it shouting, “Loudest flavors ever!”.
Limited Time Nationwide
The new Limited-Edition Cocktail Hour Pack released on April 25th and will only available for a limited time. How long of a time these summer offerings will be around, Bud Light doesn’t specify, but we can speculate from their history. Last year’s Limited Edition Out of the Office pack was available for only two months. Meaning, when Bud Light says their packs are available for a “limited-time”, the time to get your hands on these flavors is running out fast. However, those who missed the quick run of last year’s Out of the Office pack are in luck! The Cocktail Hour Pack includes a nearly identical line up, including the Lime Margarita, Watermelon Mojito, and Strawberry Daiquiri flavors. The big change between these two packs is that last year we had Mango Mai Tai and this year’s offering is Tropical Punch. The Cocktail Hour pack is available in 12-packs of 12 oz slim cans including all four flavors. These drinks are made with pure cane sugar and natural flavors. Regardless of ingredients, these offerings register at zero grams of sugar and only 100 calories per can. Their alcohol content is average for hard seltzers, coming in at 5% abv. For example, these drink have the same alcohol by volume percentage as most of Truly and White Claw flavors. On top of that, these are gluten free.
