Mas Agave Grapefruit Tastes Fresh and Bright

If we only had one word to describe the flavor of grapefruit, it would be crisp. The taste is refreshing and light. For this reason, grapefruit is often consumed in the morning, giving you a refreshing and bright start to the day. Grapefruit juice is often chosen as the base for cocktails as well. The grapefruit flavor pairs well with just about any type of alcohol. We decided to test it, and here is what we found.

Light, Crisp, and Refreshing

Quite simply, Mas Agave Grapefruit Canned Seltzer has a crisper taste than many other hard seltzers on the market. It provides a taste sensation that is similar to cutting open a grapefruit and eating a bit of the juicy deliciousness. The flavor is also light, and the alcohol is not that noticeable. We appreciated the light flavor as it helps this seltzer go down easy. You can also feel comfortable drinking them with dinner. Each canned seltzer is very refreshing. The carbonation adds to the overall refreshment also. It drinks like a citrus-flavored soft drink, except the flavors with this canned seltzer are natural and there are only 4 grams of sugar. Perhaps due to the natural fruit flavor, this seltzer has an orange color.

Grapefruit Flavor Meets Hard Seltzer

Mas Agave makes their Grapefruit Hard Seltzer with alcohol from cane sugar and blue agave. It is apparent that the flavors are natural, and the alcohol is as good as it gets (from blue agave). The blue agave flavor gives this hard seltzer a little more of a tequila taste than other hard seltzers that use fermented cane sugar and other sources of alcohol. We appreciated the subtle tequila flavor as it blended well with the fruit taste. Each Mas Agave Grapefruit is also naturally flavored with apple, pear, and grapefruit juice. These fruit flavors complement each other well. The grapefruit flavor is certainly noticeable and largely dominates the taste, but the apple and pear also make for a nice addition as well. In total, there are 110 calories per can and 7 grams of carbs. The alcohol by volume is 4.5%. The light kick of alcohol is very nice and helps you relax without making you feel too boozy.

A Great Addition to Any Fridge or Cooler

We strongly recommend adding Mas Agave Grapefruit Hard Seltzers to your fridge and cooler for yourself and for guests (if you are willing to share!). The delicious taste of grapefruit (and other fruit flavors) is terrific. The blue agave is also a unique and more enjoyable source of alcohol as well. It is not a strong beverage, which many appreciate. Overall, it is a clean and refreshing adult beverage that is certain to not disappoint. You owe it to yourself to enjoy them.
