Cherry is undoubtedly the dominant flavor in Fort Myers Brewing Company Spyk’d Cherry Limeade Hard Seltzer. This was likely intentional, as the cherry is incredibly delicious. The limeade flavor is also there, and it is the perfect complement to the cherry. Each sip starts with a nice punch of cherry, followed by a slight aftertaste of lime. The limeade flavor, in particular, tastes similar to a childhood candy. It adds a certain level of excitement that other cherry-flavored hard seltzers do not provide. Perhaps the best way to describe the flavor is as a cross between cherry punch and a lime flavor fun dip. However, despite the sweet and candy-like taste, the taste is not overwhelming, nor is it too sweet.

A Fun Drink with Great Branding

Fort Myers Brewing Company Spyk’d makes its Cherry Limeade Hard Seltzer with water, sugar, yeast, and natural flavors. It has only 90 calories and 0 grams of carbs and sugars. Another unique feature of this drink is its branding. It simply gave us better vibes than many other hard seltzer beverages, and it is a nice preview of the fun taste you experience. Specifically, we enjoyed the artwork and can design. There is a red color on top and green on the bottom of the can. We thought the palm trees on the cans were really cool and appropriate as well. The aroma of this hard seltzer also adds to the fun experience. There is a strong cherry aroma that we absolutely love. The limeade aroma (and taste) is less apparent, but there is a nice hint of limeade that you can smell as well.
