This Fall’s Seasonal Hard Seltzer Flavors

Nothing is better than the fall season. Today is only the first day of fall, and already the maple leaves are changing into shades of orange and red and piling on the grass. Halloween decorations are popping up around town, and pumpkin patches are materializing in formerly empty lots. More than all of that, it is the time for fall flavors, pumpkin spice, apple cinnamon, cranberry, caramel, and buttery brown sugar. It is the season of the most delicious feasts and heartwarming flavors. The temperatures may still be in the 80s and 90s, but the urge to consume delicious fall flavors is no less strong.

Thankfully, four popular hard seltzer companies just released fall flavors with the turn of the season. And now, hard seltzer drinkers get the best of both worlds, chilled, fall-flavor drinks on hot, early-autumn days. Here are four limited-edition hard seltzer flavor releases to get you into the mood for the fall season.

High Noon Cranberry Hard Seltzer

Is there anything that screams “autumn season” more than cranberries? Cranberry season starts in October and ends in December. Basically, it’s a quintessentially fall berry. Beloved hard seltzer brand High Noon just released a limited edition cranberry flavor as part of their Tailgate Pack. There’s a good reason that High Noon is one of the best-selling hard seltzer brands on the market. Every flavor they release is delicious, and Cranberry Hard Seltzer is no different. Our testers raved that the Cranberry Hard Seltzers have a “perfect balance of sweet and tart.” One thing to take note of, however, is that these seltzers are higher in sugars and carbs than other High Noon products. They have 2.4 grams of sugar and 5.3 grams of carbs. Like all of High Noon’s flavors, Cranberry Hard Seltzer has an alcohol content of 4.5% ABV.

Mighty Swell Blood Orange Hard Seltzer

Blood Orange season may be in winter, but the citrus fruit flavor has a special appeal on Halloween. What other fruits are so deliciously vampiric? Popular hard seltzer brand Mighty Swell clearly agrees. The brand that brought you the “Keep it Weird” pack with four fun, wacky flavors just released a limited-edition, single-flavor Halloween Pack featuring Blood Orange Hard Seltzer. While the flavor is available all year long, these packs are only available for a limited time. In an August press release, Mighty Swell describes this flavor as “The rich flavor of orange collid[ing] with hints of dark berries for a bold twist on a savory blood orange.” Each can contains only 100 calories and three grams of carbs. The drink is sweetened with grape juice. These hard seltzers have an alcohol content of 5% ABV.

Spindrift Spiced Apple Cider Spiked Sparkling Water

When stores and restaurants have spiced apple cider on their menus, you know the fall season has arrived. Whether you drink it warm or cold, spiced apple cider is the perfect drink to get you in the mood for the holidays. With this in mind, Spindrift Spiked recently announced that they’re releasing Spiced Apple Cider Spiked Sparkling Water, their first-ever seasonal flavor. They say that this spiked sparkling water isn’t quite a hard seltzer or a hard apple cider but a meld of the two. The drinks have only 97 calories, 5 grams of carbs, and 3 grams of sugar per 12 oz can. These spiked sparkling waters have an alcohol content of 4% ABV.

Two Robbers Hard Seltzer Happy Coffee

Coffee enthusiasts will likely tell you that there is no time of year when coffee is not appropriate. However, there is something about the delicious taste of 100% Colombian coffee when the weather cools and the days grow darker. This might be just the reason that Two Robbers Seltzer released their first ever seasonal limited-edition flavor, Happy Coffee. Happy Coffee Hard Seltzer contains nitro-infused cold brew coffee. According to the brand’s website, Happy Coffee’s flavor has “notes of vanilla, cocoa, coffee, and cinnamon.” These drinks come in four packs of 16 oz cans. Each can contains 130 calories, 2 grams of sugar, and 3 grams of carbohydrates. Because these drinks are made with coffee, Happy Coffee does contain caffeine. However, each can only contains approximately 1/10 of the amount of caffeine in a regular 16 oz cup of coffee. Happy Coffee has an alcohol content of 5.2% ABV.
